Big Macintosh is cool. He is also easy to make, with his short single-coloured mane and tail
Making a plushie takes a bit of time and effort, but it's fun and the result is worth it. If you're new to plushie making, I strongly recommend you check out
ValleyViolet's patterns, which are what I use (mostly). They have very detailed instructions that are easy for a beginner to follow and lots of sewing tips specific to plushie making.
Most people making plushies seems to be using minky fabric. I buy mine from
Plush addict, mostly because they're in the UK, but I've also ordered from
Fabric depot in the US in the past. I would recommend that you do
not order from fabric.com - they mess up orders and have horrible customer service.
Good luck making your pony!
